I met Matt when i was 7 years old. Matt is a dedicated coach who is always ensuring you get better session by session and treats each goalie (regardless of pedigree) the same. I’ve played house league, MD, Single A and Triple A during my time with Matt and his goal was always to keep me getting better. It’s not very often you look into the stands as a Single A goalie to see your goalie coach observing your game, but that’s Matt. Matt is a coach that is all about communication and teaches from the standpoint of your ability at the time. My sessions with Matt were as enjoyable at 7 years old as they are now as an OHL draft pick. Thank you Matt, for all these years.

I have known Matt since the beginning of my hockey career beginning at the age of 7. Starting in house league, working my way up to AAA, Matt has been there improving my game on and off the ice. Currently, I am a draft pick in the OHL awaiting training camp. Matt always has current hockey knowledge to help improve my game. Further, looking back Matt has a natural ability to relate to young minds as well as older ones, myself included. I look forward to every training session as I know I will leave a better goalie than when I arrived.

I have been training with Matt for over the last eight years and he has helped me to get to where I am today. He is an amazing motivator and encourages me every time I train with him. He brings passion, enthusiasm, positivity and a sense of fun to the game. He has a great deal of knowledge that he shares with his goalies and pushes me to work harder and do better.  He always wants to know what I want to work on and listens to me and works hard to help me improve. He teaches different drills to work on certain aspects of my game that need to be developed. He is a dedicated coach and I always look forward to being on the ice with him. He is a terrific person and I would highly recommend Matt to any aspiring goalies that want to elevate their game and reach their goals.
