Shooting can be a difficult process for a young hockey player to learn. At Cro’s Nest we break down the shooting procedure into smaller steps which ultimately lead to a proper shooting technique. Utilizing our synthetic ice surface and several shooting aids, we show the student a process which they can easily duplicate at their homes as it is important for the player to practice their shooting several times a week. These off ice shooting sessions are generally private sessions 1 hour in length for $40 but semi-private sessions are also available at a reduced cost.
On ice shooting lessons are also available with a slightly different process. They start with an analysis of the current shooting technique, adjust the technique where necessary, and then progress to shooting in game like situations. The cost of these sessions follow our regular on ice lesson rates.
